At Manyeleti Game Reserve in Kruger National Park (South Africa), a pack of vultures smelled fresh meat when the male lions had just hunted a large wild buffalo.

Vultures are opportunistic and annoying predators, they do not exert as much pressure as hyenas, but indirectly guide the hyenas where lions can hunt. Therefore, the lions do not feel comfortable in front of these vultures.

When the male lion is enjoying the prey he has just hunted, the vultures continuously fly to disturb and snatch the lion’s food.

The presence of the vultures made the lion very angry, it immediately rushed to attack them, one of the vultures was caught and eaten by the lion.
