Although considered a scavenger, in fact, hyenas are extremely effective predators, a large part of their food source coming from hunting live prey. In Africa, hyenas are second only to lions in strength when it comes to one-on-one close combat. The hyena’s favorite prey includes: zebra, wildebeest or wild buffalo.

Due to being attacked from many sides by predators, the buffalo could not manage in time. When the buffalo lost focus, a hyena stealthily launched a poison move aimed directly at the danger of its prey.
