The otter is a lovely looking animal and extremely intelligent, but it is also an extremely dangerous animal when hunting. There have been videos of otters repeatedly fighting with crocodiles and other animals.
But if the fight is with a wildcat, can the otter be won?
A video was recorded and posted on Youtube about the battle between otters and wild cats. The great video has also had more than 259k views and witnessed this rare battle.
The wildcat very quickly and decisively captured an adult otter on a riverbank, perhaps the fight was fierce and the otter was being captured by the wildcat.
We can see the cat’s fur is also wet and the fight probably took place earlier in the water and the wildcat won completely.
But the otter’s efforts only extended its life by a few minutes and the cat was then seen enjoying a fresh meal from the otter.
