Crocodiles are the most advanced of all reptiles, spawning eggs, they are cold-blooded carnivores and excellent predators with sharp teeth that can crush their prey in an instant.
Crocodiles have always been the most successful predators in their territory but there have been many moments of heavy failure on record.
A crocodile suffered a painful defeat against a small impala and lost its prey to its predator, the leopard.
The crocodile struggled to catch the impala on the shore and dragged it into a nearby waterhole. Surprisingly, the impala was quite resilient in the fight with the crocodile and was not a loser.
Impala quickly escaped from the crocodile’s mouth and tried to leave this deadly place. But it never knew a death was coming to it.
A leopard lurks in the bushes and has a surprise attack. Impala was quickly captured and died within seconds.
These painful moments happen all the time in nature and you have to accept that.
