In the Kruger National Park in South Africa, a herd of wild buffalo was resting when the lion made the decision to attack them. Wild buffalo are currently lazing by the river in their entire herd. The entire herd of buffalo leapt into the river to cross to the other side when they sensed danger.

The lion almost let the buffaloes to cross the river to the other side. They were fortunate enough to catch one of the herd’s slowest buffalo, though.

Following their victory over the prey, the lionesses drag the trophy to shore where the entire herd joins them for the meal.

Lions always prefer buffalo since it is simple to catch and provides enough food for a large herd of lions.
