After engaging in combat with a spiky porcupine, this hungry leopard was forced to accept defeat. In Sᴏᴜᴛʜ Aғʀɪᴄᴀ’s Kruger National Park, the predator was seen pursuing the spiky rodent before making the regrettable decision to ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ.

The strange encounter, which lasted an hour and a half, saw the determined leopard take frequent breaks to lick its wounds and remove spines from its paws, while the courageous porcupine refused to back down and simply stayed in place definitely as though to torment its opponent.
