The pitiful sight of an abandoned puppy crying and unable to stand up made everyone around couldn’t hold back their tears as they witnessed this heartbreaking scene. It was simply another day at the vet food store when one of our clients noticed something strange outside. A wailing puppy was left unable to stand or walk. We had no idea what had happened to him previously, but something was clearly wrong, and we needed to help.

We immediately brought the puppy inside to examine him. He was in a lot of pain, and we could see he was scared. We tried to calm him down, but it was clear that he needed more help than we could offer. As a result, we decided to take him to the vet for a more thorough inspection.

We were relieved to learn that he had no bone break at the vet. However, the vet feared that he had a spinal cord injury that had impacted his nerves. The veterinarian provided medication to help with the pain and inflammation in Lucky’s spin al cord, but despite the prescription, Lucky continued to weep and was unable to stand.

We decided to take Lucky for an X-ray since we were concerned about his condition. He had no broken bones, but his spinal cord injury was causing him a lot of pain, according to the vet. The veterinarian gave him medication to help with the pain and inflammation in his spinal cord.

Lucky, our puppy, rapidly became a part of our family. He was a fighter who made enormous strides every day. He attempted to raise his head and eat on his own. Fortunately, he had a strong appetite and was cooperative.

We didn’t know what had happened with his injection the last time, but the injection site was abscessed and festering. Lucky was still unable to walk, but he was doing well in other ways. He ate well and took his medication on time. We needed to scrub the abscess every day because it was still gushing pus.

Lucky made greater progress as time passed. He could move all of his legs again and even took a bath. The abscess had dried up and appeared to be healing. He was eventually able to walk again.

When we saw Lucky run for the first time since his injury, we were overjoyed. Lucky was a true survivor, and we were honored to be a part of his journey. We realized he was destined to be a permanent part of our family, so we decided to adopt him.

Lucky is now a happy and healthy dog. He has a permanent home with us, and we adore him above all else. We took him out for his vaccine today, and he was so terrified of the needles that he peed in his cage. Lucky will always be our little miracle, and we are so lucky to have him in our lives, despite his fear.
