Buffaloes are animals that are very dependent on water. They can even travel hundreds of kilometers with their flocks to find the right water source. On average, a buffalo needs to drink water at least twice a day.
Crocodiles have an advantage that when they are underwater, they can observe their prey on the water. And the buffalo in this story is the prey that the crocodile is aiming for. It has been observed the buffalo for a while. While the buffalo was drinking water, the crocodile suddenly ɑттɑᴄᴋed from below the water, making the buffalo unable to react.
